Provenance and Comments: The Gestapo stole this watercolor in Nice at the Credit Commercial de France on 28 April 1944 as part of a lot of 11 works deposited there by the Chaleyssin Gallery for Mr. Georges Schick. This watercolor was in the 1 August 1944 train to Nikolsburg which never left the Paris region. It was located at the Jeu de Paume on August 7, 1945.
