Provenance and Comments: Sold to A. Miedl. [Goering report, p.149]. This might be the same watercolor by Cézanne referred to in a letter from Paul Rosenberg dated 7 May 1943 in which he details works of art belonging to Fernand Javal which were stored at the BNCI in Libourne. However, the item mentioned in the letter refers to a man in a red vest.
