Collection: (MG) Moro Giafferi--Youngest member of the Paris bar, Vincent de Moro-Giafferi was one of the most colorful and relentless criminal defense lawyers in inter-war Paris. He even defied Hermann Goering in his defense of those accused of having set the Reichstag fire in March 1933. Moro-Giafferi made the short list of high-priority targets once the Wehrmacht occupied Paris in June 1940. His entire Paris apartment was emptied in November 1940.

Description: Links hohe Bäume die den Rand eines Waldes bilden. Rechts Aus blick in eine flache Landschaft mit einer Kirche. Im Vordergrund treibt ein rotgekleideter Hirte eine Viehherde, weiter hinten kommt eine andeere Herde von einer Frau begleitet aus dem Walde heraus.
