Provenance and Comments: The French version of the MbF inventory of crate LB 7 on 24 January 1941 does not indicate the presence of a "Hausaltar" but instead of a three-panel paravent with the number LB 11. This item is not mentioned in the German version of this early LB crate inventory. Nothing explains the discordance between the French crate inventory of 24 January 1941 and the subsequent German inventory of said crates unless,of course, the "paravent" was withdrawn from the crate. The piece is at the Ackland Art Museum in North Carolina.
