Collection: (EReisz) Paris--Eugene Reisz was a world-renown scientist who made groundbreaking discoveries that accelerated the improvement of radio communications. After fleeing to the United States, Mr. Reisz's property was inventoried by the Vichy authorities on 21 November 1941 as abandoned Jewish property. The M-Aktion teams seized the contents of Reisz's apartment.

Provenance and Comments: Mr. Reisz's representative in France after WWII attributed these works to Debucourt. Two of the etchings--MA-B 1317 and MA-B 1318--were restituted to Mr. Reisz even though the artist listed in the MA-B records is Legrand.
