Provenance and Comments: | This item appeared as No. 41 on a German inventory of items belonging to Baron Davies Neumann and apparently seized by the ERR. However, it was neither carded nor inventoried at the Jeu de Paume. It also appeared on a list of paintings acquired by Baron Davies Neumann from the Galerie Sankt Lukas in Vienna, Austria. The title on the Sankt Lukas listing is different from that indicated on the list compiled by ERR personnel. |
