Literature: According to French restitution authorities, HS 7 is in fact a work by Pablo Picasso.
Provenance and Comments: Returned to M-Aktion for sale. This work on paper by Picasso was first packed in a crate marked Gruppe 2 D-7 on 8 July 1943. Then it was later repacked into crate "Modernes 29" and slated for transport to Nikolsburg on 1 August 1944. The train, however, never left Paris.
