This painting was part of a group placed in safety with the Louvre on 19 October 1939. It was subsequently confiscated as "non-Aryan" on 7 July 1941. The ERR did not inventory or card it. According to the annotated version of the "Répertoire des biens spoliés", this work was the subject of a negotiated financial settlement at an unknown date. |
