It is the only small bronze sculpture inventoried by the ERR as a Rothschild item which fits the description provided in the list of items set aside for Hermann Goering in November 1942. However, the R number that is used to label it--R 2317--is wrong.It might refer to the original Rothschild numbers. But that requires further checking. |
