This painting was "handled" by Martin Fabiani.( On July 24, 1942 the art dealer Gustav Rochlitz exchanged four ‘degenerate’ paintings by Matisse, Gauguin, Modigliani and Renoir, with a 16th century panel from Florence depicting the Holy Family. The paintings belonged to Paul Rosenberg, Rothschild and Georges-Michael(?) |
