Provenance and Comments: This painting was not deemed suitable as a "work of art", as defined by the CRA on 2 November 1945. Although the French postwar list from which this information comes does not identify this painting as belonging to Seligmann, the ERR inventories together with the MCCP database confirm the provenance of this painting as having once been part of the Seligmann collection. Nevertheless, it was restituted to the Seligmann family.
